| Brief biog: |
Geoff has lived in the Woodgate area since 1989. He worked for the Woodgate Residents Association, running the Woodgate Resources Centre, until March 2004, when he was made redundent because the Association lost its funding from the Lib-Dem/Tory Council. As Chair of the Woodgate Residents Association, he still helps to run the Resources Centre on a voluntary basis. He has stood in all local elections for Fosse and the old St. Augustine's ward since 1991. He has also stood in the General Election and the European Election. He was on the National Executice of the Green Party of England and Wales for five years.

Matthew Gough was brought up in Leicestershire and is a university lecturer in social work having worked in mental health for the last 15 years. He is married with three children. Matthew was Green parliamentary candidate in 2001 for Leicester West and was the only candidate whose number of votes increased. He has been the Green Party election agent since 1999. |

Dave has lived and worked in Leicester all his life, and has been a member of the Green Party for the last five years. Formerly a publican (Landlord of The Durham Ox on Bowling Green Street from 1990-2000), he has more recently been working in the field of energy efficiency advice . Dave has also been involved in the local music scene for many years, promoting local bands and helped run the Abbey Park Festival from 1996-1999. Dave is the Green Party Candidate in the next General election for the Leicester South Constiuency. |

Mo grew up in the Coleman Ward and moved to New Parks as a teenager, when her family moved out of the city. She has been living in the Castle Ward for over 8 years, where her son attends school. Mo has many years of experience working with the local community on numerous environmental projects and currently supports a bicycle recycling project, which also helps young people to learn a trade and focus on a positive future. Mo works in an advisory role where she assists individuals in finding a career through voluntary work placements.

Alex Scott has lived in Leicester for 16 years and is an associate minister of Holy Trinity Church in the centre of Leicester. Prior to that he was a teacher for 8 years in Wigston.
Alex, married with 2 children, has been a member of the green party since 2007. Growing concerns over climate change, resource mismanagement and depletion and global social injustice motivated him to join the party. Alex has stood as a green candidate in local council elections and is also connected with Leicester Transition Towns and Green Light a Christian social justice and environmental group. |
